By this T1 sag image I couldn’t definitely choose mycoid degeneration of ACL, though it’s the more likely diagnosis. The ligament is swallen, but I’m not sure that it’ s not ruptured. At this picture I don’t see the secondary signs of ACL tear, but I have no other MR pictures (PD, T2 etc.) So, for me, the answer B. is the MORE likely diagnosis, not the most likely.

I would like to see fibers between the mucoid, but I dont see them clearly. Without the age, other images and of course the clinic, it is difficult. But I choose B, mucoid degeneration. I dont see indirect signs to think in tear.
