ECR 2012 might still be several months away, but we know that many of you are already planning your trips to Vienna. With that in mind, we looked at some of the hotels available through the ESR Travel Service booking platform to find some of Vienna’s accommodation highlights. We picked out a few establishments to suit different requirements, to hopefully help you find a home-from-home for the congress. The first on our list? The Motel One.

Motel One will make you forget about all that. Affordable top-quality design was on the founders’ minds when they set out their plans for this hotel. Its cosy and elegant rooms are equipped with all the comfort you need after a hard day’s work and if you’re a couple with a child who is six or younger, he or she can stay with you in the room for free.

The big, beautiful and brightly lit lounge will welcome you at any time for coffee and drinks, while convenient spots have been laid out to hold meetings and Wi-Fi is available for free, and you can also have your breakfast here at the buffet. Last but not least: the hotel’s central location. Motel One is conveniently located near Westbahnhof, Vienna’s largest train station, close to the shopping street Mariahilferstraße and many top tourist sites. The station is also ideally connected with underground, tram and bus lines that serve the whole city, making the trip to the congress venue a short and simple one.

And the cherry on top of the cake is that single rooms in this beautiful and well positioned hotel are available from €69, and double rooms from €84. As Motel One puts it: “Great design for little money”.
