This case was shown to me by Dr. José Vizuete and Gregorio Martin; two former residents and now excellent radiologists at Dr. Peset Hospital.

José Vilar and friends

Dear colleagues,

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Prof. José Vilar from Hospital Universitario Doctor Peset in Valencia, Spain. Due to the departure of my friend José Caceres, I will now be heading the MYESR blog under the name ‘José Vilar and friends’ with the help of my team.

This new era of the blog follows the path traced by Prof. Caceres (and with the Muppet´s permission). I will try to keep the blog in line with its previous format, using a combination of my cases and also other cases provided by our many friends in the radiological world.

The first case will be published today as well, so please stay tuned. Feel free to express yourself as you did in Caceres’ corner, and good luck!
